Agreement: By subscribing to or using Scentpath, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Scentpath is an AI-curated home fragrance subscription service operating at scentpath.co.uk. We use artificial intelligence to match you with premium candles and home fragrance products based on your stated preferences and ongoing feedback.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website and subscription service. By creating an account, taking our scent quiz, or subscribing, you accept these terms.
We offer three monthly subscription tiers:

All prices are in Great British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
Your subscription is billed monthly on the same day you first subscribed. For example, if you subscribe on 5 April, you will be billed on the 5th of each subsequent month.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise Scentpath (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. Your payment details are handled directly by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, your subscription may be paused or cancelled and your next box will not be dispatched until payment is resolved.
You may cancel your subscription at any time โ no questions asked, no penalties.
To avoid being charged for the next month, you must cancel at least 3 days before your next renewal date. After cancellation, you retain access to your account and any benefit of the current paid period.
Once cancelled, no further charges will be made. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for the remaining days of a billing period.
We stand behind our AI matching. If your very first box does not reflect your stated preferences, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will either replace it or issue a full refund โ whichever you prefer.
After your first box, we do not offer refunds on dispatched boxes unless the products are damaged, defective, or incorrect. If you receive a damaged box, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will send a replacement or credit your account.
Due to the perishable and personal nature of fragrance products, we cannot accept returns on opened items. Unopened items in original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item was damaged or incorrect.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection law.
Scentpath currently delivers within the United Kingdom only. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Your first box is typically dispatched within 5โ7 business days of your first payment. Subsequent boxes are dispatched around the same time each month. We will notify you by email when your box is on its way.
Standard delivery takes 2โ4 business days once dispatched. Delivery times are estimates and may vary during busy periods. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers outside our control.
If a box is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional delivery charges may apply.
Important: Our AI matching is an algorithmic recommendation system. Results are based on your stated preferences and feedback and are not guaranteed.
Scentpath uses artificial intelligence to curate your monthly fragrance selection. Our AI learns from your quiz responses and monthly ratings to improve future matches.
However, fragrance is deeply personal and subjective. We cannot guarantee that every item will align with your taste. Our AI recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees of satisfaction.
Match confidence percentages (such as "87% match confidence") are statistical estimates based on preference modelling. They represent the likelihood of a strong match based on our dataset โ they are not a promise of your personal satisfaction with any specific product.
We encourage you to rate your items each month to help the AI refine future selections. The more feedback you provide, the better your matches will become over time.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your delivery address and payment details up to date.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and subscribe to our service.

All content on our website โ including text, images, design, AI matching methodology, and branding โ is owned by or licensed to Scentpath. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scentpath's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use our service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If you do not accept updated terms, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you also have the right to use alternative dispute resolution schemes and EU/UK Online Dispute Resolution platforms.
